With the new, flat-face QRC-BP plug-in coupling, Stauff shows that even niche products in its broad coupling range are looked after and developed further with great care. The coupling complies with the ISO 5676 standard and the French NFU 16006 standard with identical content. Both standards place requirements on brake line couplings for use in hydraulic brake systems. They are primarily used in agricultural machinery, where the traction units often tow braked trailers or work attachments. According to the standard, this coupling is only available in a single nominal size of DN 12.5. It is suitable for operating pressures up to 150 bar with a high safety factor – as usual for Stauff. The coupling is easy and reliable to operate. The operator only has to pull back the sliding sleeve for coupling and uncoupling. Precision tow balls are used in the locking system.
